My husband and I traveled down to the Salt Lake area for a career conference to find internships, etc. before graduating. We got to spend some much needed time with my sister and her family while we were there, and of course had to do pictures! Love this little family so much, they are just so adorable! Can’t wait for our babies to be besties!
I get to work with really beautiful and amazing people. Seriously though. When I first met Jared and Brooke I knew they would be a blast to work with, and you could tell they were just so genuinely happy to be around each other. As is par for the course in Rexburg during the winter, these two had to really brave some cold weather during their bridal session. Guen came along to shoot with me and we got some really great shots! We headed up to one of my favorite places EVER to photograph the majority of their bridals…
I met this couple through Thumbtack and I absolutely loved working with them. We headed to the hills for their session to take advantage of the beautiful snow and trees up there! Sage was just in town for the weekend to officially propose and take engagement photos. Rachel and Sage were such naturals in front of the camera, I swear I hardly even had to help with posing! And they were up for anything – trekking through mid-calf high snow, braving the cold, and making snow angels!
Oh how I loved meeting this bride and groom! You can tell they are just so excited to be married!
Their day was a little hectic – I filled in for their wedding photographer who was injured the night before and unable to make it. I am so glad I was able to help out this photographer – and I would hope someone would do the same for me if I was in that position! It makes me super grateful for the great community of photographers we have here, and I will miss if we ever leave! It was kind of crazy going to the temple and not knowing what my bride & groom really looked like – and knowing they didn’t know me at all!
Rexburg decided to snow like crazy that day, but it was a beautiful day! Haley’s dress was absolutely stunning, and her bridesmaids dresses were so fun! I am a total sucker for the gray suits the guys were sporting, I love how classy they look.
They were total champs dealing with the cold and snow. It was hard to step back and realize that their photographer had already done bridals and I didn’t need to capture very many for them – I just love working with brides and grooms!
A year or so ago I took some portraits of Milo – a few weeks ago I got to take his & Kelee’s engagement photos! I loved working with them as they braved the bitter cold for their session. They were total troopers and we got great photos!
Next up is Israel! He braved some crazy cold weather (like 10 degrees and a bit of wind!) and was the last senior of 2015 I photographed. Thanks Israel for a wonderful session!
I had the privilege of photographing a fellow photographer. She’s got such a cute baby bump! Thank you Jessica & Eric for such a fun session and letting me drag you to a new location.
The wonderful Jensen family braved the cold, snow, & wind for their extended family session. They did great!
Everything about this November winter wedding was seriously divine. I loved their theme and decorations, I had a blast hanging out with the bride & her girls beforehand while they prepped, and the whole night was one big party. Plus, we were on top of a mountain in a lodge! It doesn’t get much better than that, does it??
